The “Decentralized Data Sharing in Heterogeneous Networks,” held on July 3, 2023, by the Center for IoT Innovation of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Advantech Foundation and the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center, aimed to enlighten attendees on the significance of decentralized data sharing across robots and autonomous vehicle fleets.
Led by Po-han Li, a Ph.D. student from the University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the seminar delved into cutting-edge solutions inspired by game theory and active learning to optimize data-sharing processes. This event explored transformative impacts and advanced solutions for data sharing, touching on out-of-distribution (OoD) detectors, data valuation, active learning, data sanitization, differential privacy, and distributed optimization, offering practical insights into their real-world applications.
